Rooftop projects powering education, health and business

  • Education

WEnergy Global has installed rooftop solar PV systems across the entire campus network of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM) in SLC La Union, SMU Bayombong, USL Tuguegarao, SLU Baguio, and SLC Cebu. And other universities such as Far Eastern University (FEU), starting with its Rizal Campus, Marikina and Cavite, as well as PanPacific University in Pangasinan.

  • Health

The installed capacity of the rooftop solar PV system at the Saint Louis University Hospital of the Sacred Heart Medical Center in Baguio City is 179.1 kWp. This major teaching hospital provides essential health services to the wider community and now has access to reliable, renewable energy. We also installed a rooftop solar PV system at Bicol AccessHealth Centrum Hospital in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

  • Agribusiness

WEnergy Global continues to expand its presence in the agribusiness sector, including an 830.7 kWp system in Guiguinto, Bulacan, for North Star Meat Merchants Inc., one of the leading fresh frozen food retailers in the Philippines. Additionally, WEnergy Global has installed a rooftop solar PV system at Mactan Grains Terminal Inc's feed mill plant in Cebu.

  • Manufacturing

MD Juan Enterprise is a Filipino manufacturing company and pioneer in the restoration of Jeep parts, that operates under a worldwide license agreement from Jeep/Chrysler (USA). It has moved towards sustainability through solar leasing of a 72 kWp Solar PV system. WPPI provided the solar financing.

  • Warehouse and Commercial

In 2020, one of the Philippines’ leading logistics hubs, Baesa Redevelopment Corporation (PTFC-BRC) Warehouse Complex, transitioned to clean renewable energy by installing rooftop solar PV systems with a capacity of 156 kWp. The largest complex of storage spaces and warehouse facilities in metro Manila now has a renewable energy source it can count on.

  • Food

WEnergy Global installed solar PV systems at several dressing plants owned by Bounty Agro Ventures Inc., one of the largest rotisserie chicken companies in the Philippines. Additionally, we collaborated with CDO Foodsphere Inc. for a 955.84 kWp solar PV system at the company's corporate headquarters and manufacturing center.

  • Manufacturing

T&C Manufacturing Company is a premium supplier of cocoa and dairy pre-mixes to the food industry. WEnergy Global installed a 423 kWp system on their manufacturing facility in Tuas, helping them to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions for a more sustainable manufacturing process.

  • Education

WEnergy Global designed and installed a rooftop solar PV system on ESSEC, one of the top business schools in Asia Pacific. This was a challenging project as the system was to be installed on a steel trellis structure with uneven spacing. Innovative design and proper installation procedures ensured a successful installation.

  • World’s largest integrated rail and bus depot in Singapore

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) - East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) at Changi, in Singapore is the world’s largest integrated rail and bus depot. WEnergy Global will install micro wind turbines on the rooftop. The combined capacity will be 15 kWp. The electricity generated from these micro windmills will contribute to the clean energy produced on the premises.
